FAQ

What is your order processing time?

Each piece is made to order. Production typically takes 2–5 weeks before your order is shipped.

You will receive an order confirmation by email, followed by a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

Thank you for your patience while we create something special for you.

What is ÀDÌRẸ?

Àdìre is a traditional Yoruba textile from Nigeria, created through hand-dyeing and hand-painted techniques forming intricate patterns.

Each piece is individually crafted, so no two are exactly alike. Subtle variations in pattern, color, and tone are part of its beauty, reflecting its artisanal nature and rich heritage.

WHY DOES PRODUCTION TAKE TIME?

Our garments are made in small batches.

Adire styles are individually hand-dyed by local Yoruba artisans, which takes time. Each piece is carefully processed and finished to preserve its quality and uniqueness.

Linen styles are cut and sewn to order. Fabric is sourced and imported from European mills specifically for each production run to ensure consistency and longevity.

Our intentional process allows us to create garments with care rather than mass production.

How long does shipping take?

We ship both locally and internationally using trusted delivery partners.

  • Nigeria: Orders typically arrive within 2–5 business days after dispatch via GIG Logistics.
  • Lagos customers may also select same-day rider delivery, with payment made directly to the rider upon delivery.

  • International: Orders typically arrive within 3–7 business days after dispatch via DHL Express.

Delivery times may vary depending on destination, customs processing, and local regulations.

As soon as your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number, and you can stay updated on its progress.

We appreciate your patience as your piece makes its way to you.

What is your returns policy?

At IFÉOLÚWÀ, each piece is thoughtfully made-to-order with care and intention. Because of the handcrafted nature of our garments, we are currently unable to offer refunds.

  • Selecting "Tall" adds an additional 3inches/8 cm to the length.
Can I make changes to my order after placing it?

If your order has not yet entered production, we may be able to accommodate updates. Please contact us as soon as possible with your order details.

Once production has begun, changes may not be guaranteed.

How should I care for my garments?

We want your pieces to stay beautiful for years to come. The best way to care for them depends on the fabric:

  • Adire: Machine wash or hand wash in cold water to preserve the rich patterns. Hang to dry and let the fabric breathe naturally.

  • Linen: Machine wash or hand wash in cold water. Hang dry away from direct sunlight to preserve color, or tumble dry on low for a soft, lived-in feel. You can also take your linen pieces to a trusted dry cleaner if you prefer a polished finish.

All of our garments have care tags, but if you ever have questions about caring for your items, we’re always happy to help.

Please contact us: support@ifeoluwacollective.com.

Will I need to pay customs fees?

Sometimes, orders may be subject to customs duties or taxes depending on your country. We recommend checking with your local customs office for details. Any fees are the responsibility of the customer, and IFÉOLÚWÀ is not  able to cover these charges.
